Massachusetts public schools are required to conduct vision, hearing, postural and SBIRT screenings at least once for all students in grades 9th through 12th.  In compliance with these requirements, the health office screens all students for vision, hearing, posture and SBIRT in the 9th grade and height and weight in the 10th grade.  Currently, there are no scheduled screenings for students in the 11th or 12th grade.

 

Should your teen require additional evaluation from a licensed health care provider, you will be notified in writing by the health office.
